Yes, I definitely had some tough interviews, one of the most memorable moments was during my MPhil in Scientific Computing interview when I accidentally called the interviewer “bro”! It was a mix of nerves and habit, and while it felt awkward at the time, it actually broke the tension a bit and reminded me that interviewers are human too. In the end, I learned that being prepared matters, but being yourself is just as important. Interviews aren’t about being perfect, they’re about showing how you think, how you communicate, and how you bounce back from little slip-ups.
