Question: how much does AI helps in physics and mathematical calculation for humans discover the space?

I think AI helps alot especially with the data analysis for all the information that is pulled back from space. The James Webb telescope generates over 50GB of data (that can be thousands of photos depending on the resolution) a day which would be alot for one person to go through.
The Perseverance rover on Mars uses AI as part of it’s Enhanced Auto-Navigation system which allows it to explore Jezero Crater alot better than if it was waiting for instructions from Earth.
