Prior to transitioning into Project Management, I was a Senior Control and Instrumentation Chartered Engineer responsible for designing and leading technical delivery of control and instrumentation hardware and software packages, IT and Digitalisation in capital projects

My Typical Day:
I usually get up around 7 am to say my prayers. I then do the necessary morning routines including getting my son ready for school. I will then drop him off at his school before heading to work. I usually arrive the office around 9.00 am where I have a lot of meetings and supervise contractors and my team for various projects on site. I normally leave the office around 5.30 pm.

Most of the project I work on are high value and strategic projects that are contribute to the overall success of the business. These project range from designing and constructing new plant or upgrading or replacement existing equipment to improve operational efficiency. Some of the issues that I am current addressing with my projects include: Addressing cyber security vulnerabilities and improving production capacity of the existing plant.

What I'd do with the prize money:
I will use it to sponsor STEM projects / activities in secondary schools.
