I was actually quite lazy during my GCSEs, but when I did work, I focused hard and kept a strong work ethic. Because of that, I still got brilliant results and probably as good as I could have done. The key is really to engage and enjoy your lessons, because that makes learning easier and more fun. For subjects like maths and science, practicing lots of questions is super important. One of my professors had a great catchphrase: “Maths is not a spectator sport!”, meaning you have to actively practice, not just watch or listen.
