      I am a student, so I have the freedom to work on topics that I like. If I woke up tomorrow and thought of an interesting question, I could pretty much start work on it straight away!

      I also like that my work involves applying my knowledge of computer science to biology and medicine. It feels exciting that my work could eventually help people with diseases.

      Every day is a little (or a lot!) different, plus we get to work with pretty neat machines while reading about the cutting-edge science and tech innovations being done, while thinking about how we might incorporate them into enhancing our current work.

      I enjoy the variety of the projects I get to work on and the different people I get to meet. There is also lots of opportunity to work on something different if you want, changing career direction isn’t frowned upon.
