I definitely see its use in everyday life. Personally, in my work in biomedical science, I can see how it helps us with data management, improves our time in doing statistical work, and helps us notice trends in the numbers!
Much less focused on the code and deep technical areas. But focused on accurately defining problems and how things need to work together, so that AI can provide solutions using patterns and code that have been used many times before.
Computer science will evolve from a technical discipline into a universal literacy. It will be less about writing code, and more about designing, governing, and understanding intelligent systems in a deeply interconnected world.
Quantum Computing will ascend, as we push the physical boundaries of what silicon can offer to current computing hardware technology. AI will be able to guide us to greater heights of computing.
In ten years time we will likely see cyber threats more advanced than ever before! We are at the age of Quantum computing and already these machines have been used to crack what was thought to be near impossible encryption methods, so we will need to adapt to secure information. Hopefully as we get closer achieving all of this we also figure out new ways to make computing more sustainable. Huge machines take power and we need to figure out how to make them more efficient!
