I like the scientific-method approach to learning: ask a question, design a method to test it, run the test, analyse the result, then revise the question based on what is learned. The descriptions of the courses and modules indicated that studying science in university would give me lots of opportunity to learn different methods to test things. I especially enjoyed the practical assignments for the astronomy and planetary science modules that I studied at university.
