About Me:

Originally from France, I have now been living in the UK for nearly 10 years. I currently live in London with my partner, make a living doing mathematics in cancer research and spend my free time reading, swimming/running/cycling and eating good food.

My Work:

I use mathematics and computer science to study how cancers change over time. My hope is that my work can help us find ways to treat patients better.
My Typical Day:

I usually start my day with some yoga to wake me up. I then take the train to work and do some reading during the 1h journey. After I get to work at 9 am, I make a big pot of coffee and start working on some data analysis or mathematical modelling. I have lunch with my friends at around 12 pm; if the weather is nice, we go outside to enjoy the sun and sometimes even get ice-cream. I spend my afternoon in front of the computer again and leave work at around 6 pm. After more reading on the train, I go swimming or for a run, and then have dinner with my partner.
What I'd do with the prize money:

Organise some school visits (a few hours long), where students can play around with some (homemade) hands-on, interactive activities looking at how we can use mathematics to study human biology and diseases like cancer.
