      Solving problems. I get to work with interesting people and lots of cool technology to solve problems for interesting companies. What’s not to like about a job like that? Oh – and I get paid to do it!

      Problem solving and getting to play around with new software/hardware.
      I also like meeting the different people on my projects and seeing what their roles involve.

      I’d say my favourite part of the job is solving complex problems using code. It’s really satisfying when you’ve been stuck on something tricky, and then suddenly it all clicks and your program works. I also love that I get to keep learning, science and computing are always evolving, so there’s always something new to explore, such as machine learning and artificial Intelligence.

      Definitely the fact that no day is the same and there is always something to be learnt. Just a couple days ago a new threat actor was discovered and their identity found out. With the world changing so quickly, the job also does.

      It’s this ability to think quickly and adapt to new scenarios that makes my role so fun!
