There are many computer based systems on the plane. Like the network of communication between equipment etc. I would suggest a minor in Aerospace for some operational knowledge on planes. There is also a big IT department in big aerospace companies where you lead improvement projects for the engineers working on planes. Working with 3D, VR etc.

There are loads of computer science jobs associated with the design, manufacture and operation of modern aircraft. All design work is digitally based, and those digital tools are constantly changing and being improved, including techniques like Computational Fluid Dynamics, which models how the air moves around aircraft as it flies, and design tools like CATIA which is widely used in the aerospace industry. Manufacturing is heavily based on huge 3 and 5 axis computer aided manufacturing machines and 3D printing. Operating large fleets of aircraft is also computer based, constantly monitoring their efficiency (sometimes whilst they are still flying), finding and rectifying faults when they land, and of course the Air Traffic Control systems which are vital to maintain safe operations. If you have computing and digital skills the aerospace industry is a great place to work.
