      To get into IT, I would say you can take two routes:

      1. Follow a traditional degree, placement/graduate role
      2. Do an apprenticeship or degree apprenticeship!

      These are not the only ways though as you may find that a lot of people who are in tech nowadays transitioned into it by chance.

    As per Aurelia above, but also, be curious, attend conferences (which are usually free for students), find out what interests you and ask questions at the companies’ stands
